After the birth of my first son, I started running Caterpillar Music sessions as a franchisee in SW London in 2006. I had always wanted to run my own business but had never had the confidence to do it. The thought of being part of a successful network of franchises, with ongoing support helped me to make that leap of faith. I loved every minute of running my classes. Watching little ones grow, learn, develop and most importantly, have fun in my classes was undoubtedly the most rewarding job I have ever had. My family grew, but the flexible nature of the business meant that I could still run my classes on days and times that suited my schedule. I went on to operate 3 separate franchises over the years and employed Class Leaders during my busiest times. I also became involved in training and supporting new franchisees as they started their first classes.
