My name is Jodie and I am so pleased to bring Boogie Beat back to Gloucester! I had previously worked as a dental nurse for 14 years and after having my son Theo, prematurely in 2021, my focus changed and I began to seek a more family friendly career. Once home from hospital Theo and I enjoyed participating in regular baby classes and I am so excited to be able to provide that experience to other families in the Gloucester area!

Boogie Beat Music and Movement’s award winning sessions bring children’s imagination alive through traditional stories, songs, dances and props. The sessions help to develop children’s confidence, developmental skills and social skills. Running in school hours you could be operating a mix of community classes, nursery, preschool and school workshops, birthday parties and intergenerational sessions in care homes. Sessions are suitable for newborns to 7 years.

Hannah Cavalier

Hello, I'm Hannah and I have been part of Boogie Beat music and movement for the past 10 years. I bought a franchise with Boogie Beat in 2015 as I was looking for a better work, life balance to fit around my young children. Boogie Beat was the perfect fit for me as I have a music and dance background and love reading stories to my children. Boogie Beat encapsulates all of this in every session and I fell in love with the concept. In 2022 I took over ownership of Boogie Beat from its original owners. I have been busy growing the brand and the offering that we provide and in 2024 we won 3 awards and were finalists in another 3! This year (2025) Boogie Beat music and movement celebrates its 25th birthday and it is such a privilege to bring our sessions to thousands of children each week across the UK.
